Inclusive by Design
The 2025 DotGov Design Conference, hosted by AIGA DC, represents a pivotal moment for the civic design community in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area and beyond.
After a nearly five-year hiatus, we are reconvening designers, civil servants, and advocates to create a shared space for a community navigating immense change in the government and civil service sector.
DMV designers, vote early this year and then immerse yourself in civic discussion.
Our agenda is currently slated to run for a full day – from 10 am to 4pm ET – with plenty of opportunities to be inspired as well as network with incredible stakeholders from the civic designers and changemakers. Are you an AIGA member? Register here.

Location
We're excited to convene on the entire 6th floor of the National Union Building, in downtown D.C. We're bringing the civic design community together for a full day to connect, reflect, and focus on the future of design for the public interest in the DC metro area and beyond.
We're filling ~2,300+ sq. ft of space with public servants, civic technologists, designers, and advocates from government and civil society, from all levels and all backgrounds. Inclusive by Design.
